Planning A Communication Live Competition Essay

Describe the situation where you want to plan a communication: Live competition, is an annual case competition that is hosted by University of Toronto, Scarborough campus. Thirty teams, each consisting of five members, competed against each other for maximizing their company’s profit under a simulated economic situation. Competition consisted of four business sections: economics, marketing, human resources, and accounting financing. During the third round of competition, teams had to pithing one’s company to scout the candidate of best fit. Each group were give the same information sheet about 5 different candidates. The information sheet was 13 pages long, including the characteristics, resume, and the strategic fit to our company for each candidate. Our mission was to read 65 pages total, and make presentations for each individual to pitch our company within an hour. The assumption below it was, our company wants to hire all five of them. Based on the information pro vided on the sheets, we had to provide different types of deals, considering individual’s resume and their competitiveness. However, due to the budget constraint, we should pick two candidates among the five, and provide them with more outstanding and exclusive deals to pitch our company.
